Not all tokens are created equal共生

The Linux Foundation launched the Tokenomics Foundation this week - around 30 founding members including IBM, Oracle, SAP, JPMorganChase and ServiceNow, building vendor-neutral standards for what AI actually costs and what it returns. Effectively what FinOps did for cloud spend, applied to tokens.

Worth paying attention to. Tokens have become a real line item, and most organisations still can't say with any confidence what theirs are being spent on.

Coding agents are a reasonable place to start looking. A lot of what an agent spends goes on working out where in the codebase to look, before it writes anything you asked for.
